Pack Activities

Activities List

Cub Scout Pack 199 meets as a whole between 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM every 2nd Thursday of each month from October through May. Each meeting meeting typically consists of a gathering activity, run by each Den Leader followed by opening the meeting with Pledge of Allegiance, Scout Oath, and Scout Law.

After the opening, there are events planned by our Cubmaster and Assistant Cubmaster(s) for all of the girls and boys to enjoy. Parents typically stay at the meetings to help their daughters and sons (as necessary) with siblings able to participate in most activities as well.

Some activities that we have had at our Pack Meetings are as follows:

  • Rain-gutter Regatta

  • Model Rocket Building

  • Bottle Rocket Launching

  • Fencing

  • Karate

  • Mobile Planetarium

  • Cub Scout Olympics

  • Christmas Carnival

  • Special Visitors

    • Rocketry Club

    • Area First Responders

    • Metal Detecting Club

    • Weird Science

    • PA Game Commission (Fishing)

    • AARK Wildlife Preserve

Pack Meetings are also important in communicating upcoming events and important information that parents need to know.
